We’ve missed you and we’re very happy to have you back in our pub dining with us again! But above all we want you to remain safe whilst visiting us.

To help protect the safety of our guests whilst visiting us you will notice some changes. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
We ask that you follow our guidance to make yours & others return as safe & as enjoyable as possible.

  • Face masks must be worn on arrival until you are seated at a table, & when using the facilities.
  • Due to the limited mobile coverage in our area, if you are able to please download the NHS track and trace app from either the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store
  • We are following government guidelines and limiting the number of customers allowed in the pub at any one time to allow for the appropriate distance in between customers and employees.
  • Booking is essential as the cold weather draws in & seating inside is limited due to social distancing.
  • Inline with government guidelines we are not allowing bookings or groups over 6 people including children.
  • The flow of customers around the building will be controlled via Clear signage and floor decals.
  • Please observe social distancing & the one-way system in & around the pub at all times.
  • Entry and exit points are clearly marked.
  • Disposable menus are in use, please take them with you when you leave the pub/restaurant.
  • The size of our menu has been reduced to allow safe distancing for the staff in our kitchen.
  • We have hand sanitiser available at all doors, in the toilets and on the restaurant floor for your convenience.
  • Perspex screens have been installed on open tills to protect customers and employees.
  • We apologise in advance as queuing & delays maybe unavoidable at busy times.
  • We have switched over to card payments and contactless only to reduce the risk of handling cash transactions. Limits have been increased for contactless payments where this was possible.
  • We ask if a group of you are dining or drinking outside, please note your table number before ordering, & only one member of your group comes in to the pub at any time to order & pay.
  • Please be patient when using the toilets, only one person to use the facilities at any one time, other than assisting young children or a disabled person.
  • We have appointed dedicated employees to manage queues at tills and the entrance's to ensure social distancing measures are being followed.
  • We have invested significantly in increasing the frequency and rigour of our cleaning policy across all our areas: giving particular attention to high frequency touchpoints such as tills, tables, trays, and employee areas in back of house.
  • We have always been a dog friendly pub, however for the time being we are only allowing dog's into the side bar of the pub so we can ensure social distancing can be followed.

Whilst these changes may make things feel slightly different, you can rest assured one thing that we will not be changing is the quality of our service and food!
